Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is a challenging roguelite RPG, with a table-top ‘feel’, a node-based open world & cool twist on permadeath.

Unexplored 2 creates a vast, rich fantasy world for you to discover. It has a cool twist on permadeath: your character may die, but the world might persist. The game is an ambitious, procedural action-RPG without grind, xp, or gold. Instead the story is all about your choices and their consequences as history unfolds.

As the titular Wayfarer you take on the quest to destroy the Staff of Yendor, for which you’ll have to traverse your world. Along the way you’ll meet tribes, encounter magical creatures and explore ancient ruins to discover mythical weapons and historic items.

In Unexplored 2 you are The Wayfarer: a hero burdened to journey to the other side of the world to destroy the Staff of Yendor. In this rogue-lite RPG with perma-death and a fully, procedurally generated world, it means that the quest will never be the same and will probably claim your life.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Unexplored ventures outside the dungeon and into a whole new realm of adventure. Building a unique legacy system on top of a state-of-the-art content generator, where after each run you can choose to play as a new hero in the same world. Or start from scratch in a new world.

Destroying the Staff is the ultimate goal, but you will likely discover other secrets as well. Uncover powerful artefacts and leave them at safe places for the benefit of your successors. Meddle with the affairs of powerful factions to help or hinder them.
